True to its name, this wine takes the path less traveled. Grenache
is front and center in our GSM blend, which also features
36% Syrah and 21% Mourvèdre. Bright, lush and fruit-driven, its sum is even greater than its parts as the Mourvèdre brings primal notes of earth and supple leather. Syrah rounds out the palate with density, color, and spice. We sourced our fruit for this wine from Thompson and Shokrian Vineyards. Whole berries were cold-soaked before inoculation with RC212 yeast, and the Grenache features about 20% whole clusters. Barrels were sampled in the spring of last year, and then carefully chosen to create this blend. This wine is interesting now and will also age very nicely!

"Very light in the glass, this blend of 43% Grenache, 36% Syrah and 21% Mourvèdre offers fairly simple yet likable berry aromas. There's a surprising amount of textural grip to the palate and loads of earthy minerality, with hibiscus, red plum and gravel flavors proving more complex than the nose implied."
