Grenacheis front and center in our GSM blend, which also features
40% Syrah and 26% Mourvèdre.  Bright, lush and fruit-driven, its sum is even greater than its parts as the Mourvèdre brings primal notes of earth and supple leather.  Syrah rounds out the palate with density, color, and spice.  We sourced our fruit for this wine from Thompson and Shokrian Vineyards.  Whole berries were cold-soaked before inoculation with RC212 yeast.  Barrels were sampled in the spring of last year, and then carefully chosen to create this blend.  This wine is interesting now and will also age very nicely!

93 Points – Wine Enthusiast
"There is a lot of herbal enhancement of sage and thyme to the red-cherry backbone of this blend of 40% Grenache, 34% Syrah and 26% Mourvèdre. The palate snaps with flavors of black raspberry and cherry foam, then is lifted by baking spice, a chalky texture and fresh acidity."
